Delete your Cornerstone account

You can permanently delete a Cornerstone account and its cloud data. Deleting the app or erasing one device does not delete the cloud account.

Delete inside Cornerstone

  1. Open Preferences → Account and cloud sync → Delete account and cloud data.
  2. Review the data that will be removed and make an export if you want one.
  3. Complete the confirmation. Cornerstone deletes private cloud media, synchronized records, and the Cornerstone authentication identity, then signs the device out.

If you cannot open the app

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in. Use the subject Cornerstone account deletion request. If Apple Hide My Email was used, send from or identify the relay address shown for Cornerstone in your Apple ID settings. Do not attach health records, photos, exports, passwords, or account tokens.

Cornerstone will verify control of the account before deletion. Verification may require a reply or a fresh Apple or Google sign-in. Requests are normally completed within 30 days.

What deletion removes

Deletion does not remove records you separately wrote to Apple Health, files you exported or shared, data retained by Apple or Google under their policies, or encrypted disaster-recovery copies awaiting routine overwrite. Operational and processor records can remain for the limited periods stated in the privacy policy.

Delete some data instead

You can delete individual entries and photos without deleting the account. This removes the active reference immediately; unreferenced local and private cloud photo bytes follow the grace-period and later-sync cleanup described in the privacy policy. You can also disable Apple Health cloud sync to remove synchronized Health-derived Cornerstone copies while retaining your local library.
