Closed beta terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Levelmark Studios LLC, the operator of Cornerstone. By installing or using Cornerstone, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Free and Premium subscriptions
Free includes everyday tracking, food search and barcodes, manual workouts, recipes and structured imports, the local meal-week builder, calculated targets and reviews, history, sync, and exports. Premium enables new AI generation, revisions, photo analysis, and screenshot/PDF extraction. Previously saved content remains available after Premium expires. Premium does not impose a monthly AI credit allowance; reasonable short-term request and concurrency protections apply, and temporary outages may occur.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically through Apple at the localized price and billing interval shown before confirmation. Eligible customers may receive the introductory trial displayed by Apple. After a trial, the subscription renews at the displayed price unless canceled before the trial ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in Your plan; restoration can transfer access to the Cornerstone account currently signed in. Payment and refund requests are handled by Apple. Deleting the app or Cornerstone account does not cancel the subscription. TestFlight sandbox transactions do not charge real money.
The Apple standard license agreement applies to the iOS app along with these service terms.
Eligibility and household information
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these terms. Cornerstone is not directed to children. You may enter another household member's dietary information only when you have authority and permission to do so.
Beta service and license
Cornerstone is a pre-release fitness, nutrition, recipe, meal-planning, grocery, and training tool with local-first cloud synchronization. Subject to these terms, you may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Beta features, provider integrations, limits, or availability can change, fail, or be discontinued. Keep your own export of information you cannot afford to lose.
Account responsibility
You sign in through Apple or Google and are responsible for protecting that provider account and your devices. Do not share access or attempt to use another person's account. Notify [email protected] if you believe your Cornerstone account is compromised. Cornerstone may suspend online access to investigate abuse or protect user data.
Not medical, dietary, or emergency advice
Cornerstone is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for a physician, registered dietitian, physical therapist, trainer, or other qualified professional. Do not use it for emergency, clinical, pregnancy, eating-disorder, medication, or disease-management decisions.
Stop exercising and seek appropriate care if you feel pain, faintness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Calorie and macro targets are deterministic estimates based on population equations, published healthy-adult guidance, and the information you provide; they are not prescriptions, measurements of your metabolism, or guarantees of weight or body-composition change. Muscle-gain targets require reported resistance training and use a conservative starting surplus; body-fat gain is still possible. Portions, exercise suggestions, and progress estimates are also approximate. Allergy detection is not guaranteed. Always inspect ingredient lists, cross-contact warnings, product packaging, source recipes, and guidance from your qualified professional.
AI, recipes, and third-party data
Generated recipes, recipe nutrition estimates, meal plans, and training plans can hallucinate, omit details, or misunderstand constraints. AI recipe nutrition can misread ingredient ranges, brands, cooking loss, absorbed oil, or serving size and can materially understate or overstate calories and macros. AI training plans are general fitness information, not medical advice or a substitute for a qualified coach or clinician. Meal-photo estimates can misidentify food, miss oils or sauces, and materially understate or overstate portions, calories, and macros. Screenshot/PDF measurement extraction can misread dates, units, labels, or values, and bio-impedance body-composition estimates can vary materially. USDA, Open Food Facts, and branded-food records can be incomplete, stale, or based on a different serving. Imported websites can change. You must review every result before logging food, saving a scale import, cooking, eating, shopping, or changing training.
Third-party names and content remain the property of their owners. USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts data are provided by their respective sources and are not endorsements of Cornerstone. OpenAI, Cloudflare, Sentry, Apple, Google, GitHub, and recipe websites provide separate services under their own terms.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in recipes, notes, photos, and other content you enter. You grant Cornerstone and its listed processors only the limited permission needed to store, synchronize, transmit, process, and return content for the features you request. This permission ends when account deletion and the retention periods in the privacy policy are complete.
When you create an unlisted hosted share, you direct Cornerstone to make the displayed recipe or grocery snapshot available to anyone who receives that link. Share only content and photos you have the right and permission to distribute. A link is not access control: recipients can forward it or keep a copy. Grocery recipients can check and uncheck existing shared items, and those changes can update your Cornerstone list. You can revoke the hosted link in the app, but revocation cannot erase copies another person already saved or forwarded.
Only upload or import content you own or have permission to process. Do not upload another person's image, private health information, copyrighted recipe publication, or confidential material without authorization. Direct exports and shares are your responsibility after they leave Cornerstone.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, infringe another person's rights, or submit unlawful or harmful content;
- bypass quotas, access controls, or service protections;
- extract provider keys, probe private networks, distribute malware, or interfere with the service;
- automate abusive request volume, resell the companion service, or misrepresent generated output as professionally verified; or
- use Cornerstone to make decisions about another person's employment, credit, insurance, housing, or medical treatment.
Access to online features can be limited or suspended to protect the service, providers, or other users.
Privacy and device access
The privacy policy describes accounts, local and cloud storage, managed encryption, Apple Health access, online processing, providers, retention, and deletion. You are responsible for securing your provider account, device, backups, and exported files and for reviewing operating-system permission prompts. Apple Health permission, retention, deletion, and device synchronization are also subject to Apple's controls.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cornerstone is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, data preservation, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Levelmark Studios LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, personal decisions made from unverified output, or unavailable third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and termination
You may stop using Cornerstone at any time, delete your account, and erase local data in Preferences. Account deletion is also explained in the account deletion instructions. The developer may change or discontinue the beta or update these terms. Material changes will update the effective date. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including content responsibility, disclaimers, and liability limits, continue after use ends.
